Greetings, and Welcome -

You may be wondering who we are, and why yet one more church has been founded in the area. Those are both fair questions, and we'll do our best in the brief space we have here to explain (1) who we are, and (2) why we've come together as we have. You may also choose to consider a third question, which is whether you would have an interest being a part of our fellowship.

Grace Harbor Church is made up of families in the Chicagoland area who share a number of common beliefs:

  • That the wages of sin is death, but Jesus Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures.
  • If we simply believe in His death for us we are saved from the penalty of our sin and are placed into what the scriptures call the church, the body of Christ.
  • God's purpose for his church is to study His word, preach Jesus Christ according to the revelation of the mystery, work together to accomplish the work of the ministry, and be the pillar and ground of the truth.

We've decided to come together at this time because we share a common commitment to help men, women, and children understand and appreciate all that the Lord has accomplished for us at the Cross of Calvary.

In the exercise of this commitment, we meet twice each week in the Arlington Heights/Mount Prospect area:

  • Sunday mornings at 10a.m.at the Forest View Educational Center, for Adult Bible Study and Children's Sunday School.
  • Thursday Evenings at 7p.m. at the John Jay Elementary School, for Adult Bible Study and Miners Club, a program of Bible study, gym games, food, and fun for boys & girls ages 6-13.

You're welcome to join us, to see and to hear what we're about and perhaps to join with us. Feel free to contact us if you have any questions. We look forward to meeting you and to growing together in God's wonderful grace.
