The Good of Cain
As Cain and Abel grew they were instructed regarding the sacrifice that was to be offered for their sins. Abel is obedient to the Word of God and by faith offers an animal sacrifice. Cain chooses another way, a way that rejects Gods Word. Cain believed that something other than the blood sacrifice could atone for sin. God accepts Abel and declares him righteous, but God rejects Cains way and called his works evil.
